When she graduated with a diploma in broadcast journalism at Boston University Taft embarked her career with Fox Sports North as a sideline reporter and regional affiliate. In addition to reporting on sports, she also served as a contributor on social networks and as an interim host of many games. Within a short time, Fox Sports 1 hired Taft as a reporter in its News and Highlights department. Taft has reported on prestigious names and has reported them in the field for FS1. Then she worked as an on-field journalist for football as well as the chief of college-level reporting alongside Gus Johnson. In 2018, she was famous when she was asked to become the moderator on the hit TV program Skip and Shannon Undisputed. It is still is the moderator today.
